2013-01-06 - SUNDAY FUNDAY

Well, don't get used to this. Two days in a row will probably not be the regular status quo. But was very productive today and felt like finishing it off with a brain dump on here.

Woke up a little later than I would have liked, but my body needed the rest. Started out the morning by putting a roast in the crock pot.

Smells delicious.

Got a few things returned and all of the grocery shopping done before noon. JACKPOT! Kohls and Bergners I've lost hours in those stores before.
Got a sweet new pair of warm up pants though so totally worth it.

Went to open gym at 2 today...good group of people there. Was planning to do my max effort kettle bell swings to find my unbroken amount. But was talked into a main site WOD instead.
5 Rounds for time.
10 toes 2 bar
10 snatch (75#)
10 wall balls

Pretty good WOD, ill bet there will be a similar one in the open this year maybe an 8-10 min amrap.

Got home at 3 ish and was planning to relax before cooking by watching Battleship....pretty solid movie. It's like transformers and Independence Day mixed but no Shia LaBouf and no Will Smith. It did have Rihanna so take that for whatever it's worth. I'd say 6/10 I was entertained the whole time.

Then came up to attack food for the week. Made some buffalo chicken casserole. Mmmm delicious. Probably my favorite whole30/Paleo meal. Cavemen would definitely eat this as often as possible.

We found a recipe for whole30 "crackers"
Turned out tasting just like saltines.

Which is solid, BUT WAIT!!

They can transport the buffalo chicken casserole to my mouth!

Winning.

Oh and the roast was awesome.

We made Paleo Mayo , deviled eggs, buffalo chicken casserole that I've modified a little to make more my own, crackers, and roast. Should get us through the week of lunches.

Oh.... and the cashier at Kohls really burned my Sass.
First of all the return policy at Kohls is the most ridiculous thing ever.
You can have the lowest sale price in the last 13 weeks in store credit.
Or
You can exchange it for something of equal value. Well the in store credit was worth $13 and the tag said $40.

Well when trying to check out at the cashier desk, the lady couldn't figure it out and was trying to give us $16. We walked to the customer service area and were promptly checked out and sent on our way. Moral of the story. Go to the manager as often as possible.

Good night.
