02/04/11 - Frosty

So my neighbor built this snow man....What a creepy looking snow man, who puts eyebrows on a snow man? And a stick for a grin w/out turning the sides up?

Creep. Anyway, It looks like the temperatures will allow us to look at him every day for the next several weeks.

02/03/2011 - Drift

Snow Drifts are a bitch. At least I get to pretend like I have a nice view today. Maybe I will move my three hole punch, two hole punch, and stapler so I can see out the window today.

Maybe.

Doubtful.

02/02/2011 - Driveway

So I spent the better part of the day yesterday shoveling a path so our cars could get from our garage to the street. Yes, I know, it's called a driveway. At least my boss gave me the day off so I had all day to finish this task. Julie and I shoveled and shoveled and eventually broke free. We went for a ride and took the dogs with us, got out of the house.

Pretty nice to drive around and not have all the roads full of idiots.

02/01/11 - snow blowing

So nothing infuriates me more than seeing some moron out plowing his driveway before the bulk of the storm. Yes I took this around 2pm today. That was before the major stuff hit. AND there are 30 mph winds blowing still.

Not a thinker or maybe he just likes to work

1/31/2011 - Carcasonne

So we started playing this new game. Carcasonne. It is a simple tile game that anyone can pick up with little to no skill level. Just place tiles in places where they work. Essentially dominoes with roads and grassland.

Well there is an iPad version and it's pretty sweet to not have to pick up all the tiles when you are done playing.

Think I'm starting to see the benefit to digital monopoly. No money to count and sort.

01/30/2011 - Who works on a Sunday?

I mean seriously? Who works on a Sunday? That is for the birds......Needless to say we got a few walls up and standing on the second floor. Those are 12 gauge metal studs. They weigh approximately 58 lbs a piece. That is a heavy piece of metal we are putting up there.

01/29/2011 - Merlot & a Masterpiece

So Friday night we go to this place called Merlot & a Masterpiece and just like it sounds, you drink wine and paint. Well I am not a good painter. And as soon as the pictures get uploaded I will edit this post with the picture. I didn't take any pictures.
